Harleyworld goes Hawaiian!

Tomorrow Saturday 4th August is our Hawaiian Day... here is a press release from Harley-Davidson® UK:

Harleyworld goes Hawaiian!

Now that the British summer weather has finally arrived, local Harley-Davidson® dealership, HarleyWorld, is tempting the sun to stay out for a little longer with its Hawaiian Day this weekend. The tropical fun day will take place at the Station Road showroom on Saturday 4 August.

Staff at the dealership will be getting into the spirit by dressing up in Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts and some may even turn up to work sporting coconuts! There will be live Hawaiian music for all to enjoy and a Hula hoop competition – but with one staff member having once been a member of the Hula Hoop Derbyshire County Team, the competition will be tough.

For those who miss out on the Hula awards, there will also be prizes handed out on the day for Best Fancy Dress and special offers will be available to all on used bikes.

Special arrangements have been made for refreshments too with the BBQ serving up Hawaiian pineapple and bacon burgers and vegetarian Hawaii burgers. Must-try Hawaiian chilli is also on the menu with freshly cut pineapple for dessert and non-alcoholic tropical cocktails to wash it all down.

Dealer Principal, Patrick Yates, said: “We’re really looking forward to the Hawaiian day and we’re just hoping that the weather doesn’t let us down. The one tropical element that we can definitely survive without is thunderstorms! Whatever the weather, it should be a great, fun day for all the family and we look forward to welcoming new and familiar faces through the doors.”
